I design coordination systems — the structures a civilization decides with: who holds power, how value flows, what gets built. Yearn, Coordinape, EigenLayer, Aztec. Now building what’s next.

Systems

  1. Yearn Finance

    2020–22

Constrained delegation: Yearn’s Governance 2.0, co-authored with Gabe Shapiro. Instead of delegating votes to politicians, the DAO delegates specific powers to accountable teams — and YFI holders keep the last word. Joined pseudonymously in DeFi Summer 2020; the model has been referenced across DAO governance since.

  2. Coordinape

    2021–22

Co-founded; incubated inside Yearn. Decentralized compensation through GIVE circles: teams decide together, peer to peer, who created value and how to reward it — the hardest decision a decentralized organization makes.

  3. EigenLayer

    2024–25

As Chief Governance Officer of the Eigen Foundation, designed EigenGov: governance for a multi-billion-dollar protocol where small councils of high-context experts make the decisions, and token holders hold endorsement and veto power. Presented at Devcon SEA, 2024.

  4. Aztec

    2026

Governance consulting for the privacy layer of Ethereum, a network built around day-one decentralization.

  5. ISTA

    2026

Designed a new governance system for the International School of Temple Arts, a global mystery school. Coordination design doesn’t stop at blockchains.

Every human being has a gift to offer. Our economics can barely see most of them. I’m working on the systems that will.

If you’re working on new ways for humans to coordinate, write to me.
